Rooted in faith. Growing together.
You don't have to do
motherhood alone
Motherhood changes everything — including you. Fruitful Village is a Christ-centered community where women can find encouragement, practical resources, wellness education, faith, and honest conversations for every season of motherhood and womanhood.
As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.

Come as you are“A village that prays with you, laughs with you, and walks with you.”
Come as you are
What do you need today?
Some days you need answers. Some days you need encouragement. Some days you simply need to know another woman understands.

Every season
Wherever you are right now
A woman might find the Village while hoping for a baby and still be here when that baby is learning to drive.

Hoping, waiting, and trying not to count the days.

What we're learning together
Honest conversations, practical resources, and encouragement.
Preparing siblings for a new baby
The regression is normal, the jealousy is normal, and there are a few things that genuinely make it easier.
Trimester by trimester: what's actually happening
A plain map of the whole thing, without the fruit comparisons.
Before you're pregnant: what actually matters
A short list, and one item on it has to be started before you know you're pregnant to work at all.
When to talk to a doctor about fertility
There is a real answer to "how long should we wait", and it depends mostly on your age.
The two-week wait: what helps, what doesn't
Fourteen days of analysing every twinge. There is no way to make it short, but there are ways to make it survivable.
What “trying” actually looks like month to month
Most couples don't conceive in the first month, or the third. Here's what the numbers actually are.

Rooted in something deeper
Motherhood can stretch you in ways you never expected. Through the beautiful seasons and the difficult ones, we believe our deepest roots are found in Jesus.
Come find Scripture, prayer, encouragement, and stories from women learning to trust God right where they are.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
You weren't meant to do this alone
There is something powerful about hearing another woman say: "Me too."
Fruitful Village is being built as a place where women can learn from one another, pray for one another, encourage one another, and grow together.

Trusted voices
No one person should pretend to know everything
As Fruitful Village grows, we're bringing knowledgeable voices to the table so women can hear from qualified professionals alongside the lived experiences of other mothers — OB/GYNs, registered dietitians, pelvic floor physical therapists, licensed therapists, lactation consultants and others.
Not yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. No contributor profiles appear here because no qualified professionals have joined yet. Nothing on this site is labeled "expert written" or "expert reviewed" unless a named professional genuinely participated. See our editorial standards.
Why I built the Village
Pull up a chair. There's room for you.
Hi, I'm Lissa. Motherhood has brought me some of the greatest joy of my life — and some seasons when I found myself searching for answers, reassurance, encouragement, and women who understood.
Again and again, I realized how many of us were quietly asking the same questions. So instead of waiting to find the perfect village, I decided to help build one.
Fruitful Village isn't about one woman having all the answers. It's about bringing women together to share what we've learned, ask better questions, encourage one another, grow in faith, and connect with trusted voices when professional expertise matters.
I'm glad you're here.
